The tapas board from Andersen Furniture has a nice shape, which is perfect for serving e.g. pizza or tapas. The board is round, but has a plaster at the end, so that it can easily stand on the kitchen table and rest against the wall - without rolling around. The practical handle is another good detail, which makes the tapas board easy to handle when serving.
The tapas boards are made of solid oak, which has a high content of tannic acid, which makes it antibacterial. The product is therefore suitable for use in connection with food. In addition, oak is a durable natural material that protects your knives.
Before use, we recommend that the product is treated with sunflower or rapeseed oil. In order to preserve the product's glow and resilience, it is also recommended that it is regularly maintained with oil. Also be aware that the wood fibers may rise after use. This can be remedied by sanding with sandpaper grain 240 or finer. The product cannot be machine washed, but can be washed on all surfaces with soapy water.
